On July 20, 1953, Thomas Friedman entered this world in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After completing his secondary school education in Minneapolis, he went on to pursue a degree in Mediterranean Studies at Brandeis University, from which he received his Summa Cum Laude diploma in the year 1975.
