Tamar Braxton Bio Data :

In 1977, Tamar Estine Braxton was born to parents Michael and Evelyn Braxton in Severn, Maryland. She was the second of three children. Her father served as a church minister. She is the youngest of six Braxton siblings (five sisters and Michael Conrad Braxton Jr.). She has had a fascination for music since she was a child and began singing at a young age.

She used to sing in the church choir with her siblings. She dropped out of high school before getting a diploma. Tamar Braxton married her first spouse, music producer Darrell Delite Allamby, in 2001. The pair split in 2003 after an unsatisfactory marriage. She began dating Vincent Herbert, a record executive, in 2003, and they married on November 27, 2008. Logan, their first child, was born on June 6, 2013.

She has vitiligo and has pulmonary embolisms in her lungs, according to her doctor. Tamar Collection, her ready-to-wear clothes, and shoe business debuted in November 2014. The media claimed in October 2016 that her marriage was on the rocks, and following a fight between the couple at home, the cops were called and Braxton was taken to the hospital. First Lady Michelle Obama encouraged her to enroll in college at the age of 38. She’s also working on a book called “Love and War.”

Career

An R&B singing group called “The Braxtons” comprised of the Braxton sisters, including Tamar, was formed in 1989, and their debut single, “Good Life,” was released in 1990. As a result of the single’s poor performance, Arista Records dissolved the contract they had signed with them. When Toni quit the group to pursue a solo career, the other sisters, including Tamar, were included in the music video for Toni’s single, “Seven Whole Days.”

The sisters resurfaced in 1996 with a new album, ‘So Many Ways,’ which charted at No.  Tamar quit the group in 1998 to pursue a solo career, signing with DreamWorks Records. Her solo album, ‘Ridiculous,’ was released, and it featured a wide range of musical styles. However, it had no effect on urban radio stations. Instead of canceling the album, Dreamworks Records renamed it ‘Tamar’ and removed three old tracks while adding new ones (2000).

Her label pulled her from the list after the new tracks failed to make an effect. The soundtrack album for the film “Kingdom Come” includes one of her unpublished tracks, “Try Me,” in 2001. She began writing songs and appeared in music videos, notably the video for “He Wasn’t Man Enough.” Toni’s albums featured her co-writing tracks and singing backing vocals.

By 2004, she had begun work on her second album and had released a song, “I’m Leaving.” She released another single the next year. In 2010, she signed with Universal Records and released the track “The Heart In Me,” which was featured on the compilation “Adidas 2: The Music.” WEtv signed Braxton, her mother, and her sisters for a reality show called “Braxton Family Values” the same year. On April 12, 2011, the show premiered.

Braxton and her husband, Vince, announced in 2011 that they will produce and appear in their own reality show, “Tamar & Vince,” based on her solo career and their married lives. Streamline Records offered her a new deal in 2012. When her singing career didn’t take off, she tried a variety of other activities. During the ELLE/Style360 NYC Fashion Week, she modeled for the ‘Front Row Couture’ line.

Tameka Cottle’s chat show “Tiny Tonight on VH1” featured her as a co-host. She presented a show on BET’s sister channel Centric called “The Culturalist.” In 2013, she began to gain recognition in the music industry, which she deserved. She signed with Epic Records in 2013 and her second album, “Love and War,” was released on September 3, 2013. The album’s title track was a commercial triumph, topping the Adult R&B Songs list for nine weeks.

The single “The One,” from the album “Love and War,” is charted in the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs category. The album was also a hit in the United States, where it sold 114,000 copies in its first week. This album, according to Braxton, “really embodies who she is,” since it is outspoken, intelligent, and high-energy. Braxton co-hosted Fox Broadcasting Company’s ‘The Real’ chat show from 2013 to 2016, which was a hit.

In September of 2013, the second season of the ‘Tamar & Vince’ show began; this season featured the couple’s preparation for and delivery of their kid, as well as the launch of ‘Love and War.’ ‘Winter Loversland,’ Braxton’s debut Christmas album, was released on November 11, 2013. It also made the Billboard 200 chart, selling 8,000 copies in its first week. 2014 was an exciting year as well.

She was included in the remix of Robin Thicke’s track “For the Rest of My Life” in February 2014. In October, the third season of ‘Tamar & Vince’ premiered. In October, Braxton released her new track, “Let Me Know,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Trending 140 chart. The track “If I Don’t Have You” was released in May 2015 and reached No. 6 on the Adult R&B Songs chart in the United States.

The single “Catfish,” as well as the album “Calling All Lovers,” was released in September. The single “Angels & Demons” was released in September. The Christmas album “Braxton Family Christmas” debuted at No. 1 on the US Heatseekers Albums list in December. She was fired from ‘The Real’ in May 2016. She secured a deal with 112th Street Productions in June 2016 to produce her own talk show and television series. She also departed Epic Records and inked a $1 million deal with eOne Music. She released the track “My Man” from her upcoming fifth studio album in April 2017.
