The Minnesota Vikings are an American professional gridiron football team headquartered in suburban Minneapolis, Minnesota, that competes in the National Football Conference (NFC) of the National Football League. The Vikings were created in 1961 and have been in the league since then (NFL).
The Vikings have appeared in four Super Bowls (1970, 1974, 1975, and 1977), but have lost all four of those games to the Patriots.
