The Los Angeles Rams are an American professional gridiron football team that competes in the National Football League’s National Football Conference (NFC) (NFL). The Rams, who are based in Los Angeles, have won two NFL championships (1945 and 1951) and one Super Bowl (2000). The Rams were founded in 1936 as a member of the short-lived American Football League and were originally based in Cleveland.
They joined the NFL the following year. The new team failed to win a game in any of the following five seasons after losing all but one game in its debut season in the NFL.
