Linda Bengtzing Bio Data :

Birgitta Bengtzing, Linda was born on March 13, 1974. She is a Swedish pop songwriter known for her fourth-season participation at the Swedish Fame Factory and her appearances at the 2005, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2020 Melodifestivals. In the village of Västra Götaland, in the west of Sweden, Bengtzing grew up in Gullspång. In 1987 and 1989, she released two singles but disappeared 15 years from the music industry.

In 2004, she participated in Fame Factory’s fourth and last season, but went on the show with the selection of her song Alla flickor for Melodifestivalen 2005. Her song astonished everyone and after enough votes in the ‘Andra Chansen’ (Second Chance) round, she took part in the final of the melodifestivals. She finished last with 15 jury points, but received 0 points from the Swedish public. A few months later, “Diamanter,” a track similar to Alla flickor, reached no. 32. The single came at 8 on Swedish charts.

Career

She appeared at Melodifestivals once again a year later. Her song, ‘Jag ljuger så bra’ was originally composed for Jessica Andersson, completed the first heat in the top two and so joined the finale. The song of Linda came in the final of the Stockholm Globen seventh out of ten. Although Linda may not win a lot of public votes, the single in the Swedish charts rose to No. 2, which makes this her greatest hit. The persistence paid off in Linda Bengtzing’s case. Swedish pop artist Lena Philipsson and Carola, a moulded melodifestival veteran, battled her way to recognition with her appearance on Fame Factory for the 4th and last season.

Bengtzing never finished the long storey, but during her time on show she was picked to compete in the 2005 Melodifestival. Bengtzing finished last of all with zero points “phone-in” in the national song contest with “Alla Flickor.” She was truncated, but the number eight in Swedish charts was nevertheless “Alla Flickor.” On the heels of ‘Alla Flickor,’ another single, ‘Diamanter,’ peaked at a respectable number 32. Enhanced by the success of her chart, Bengtzing returned with “Jag Ljuger Sa-Bra,” initially for Jessica Andersson, to the Melodi Festival the following year. “Jag Ljuger Sa Bra” went on to peak at number 2 on the charts, though.

Bengtzing ended eighth. Her debut, Ingenting at Forlora in 2006, reached the fourth highest and brought another Top Ten single, “Kan Du Se.” Earlier in the following year, the comedian hit “Varsta  It would be the first one for Bengtzing. Days prior to the 2006 Melodifestivalen final, the first album was released “Ingenting Att förlora” (No. 4), and the second single from the album, “Kan du se” was released in No. 7 months later, although she wasn’t scheduled for next week.

A new track, “Värsta schlagern” was published during 2007, parodied in conventional entries in the Melodifestivals. It’s rumoured to have entered the 2007 melodifestivals, but wasn’t selected for the title in the live events as one of the 32 songs. The song is the Markoolio duet. On 1 March 2008 Linda was competing in Heat 4 (Karlskrona), where she qualified directly for the final round at the Melodifestivals 2008. She finished sixth in the final, getting 64 jury points, but nothing from the public.

The song has been created of Johan Fransson, Tim Larsson and Tobias Lundgren and is named Hur svårt kan det va?  Four days after Melodifestival final, Linda launched her second album on 19 February 2008. The Linda disc firm (Mariann Records) was claimed that unless it was in Melodifestivalen 2008, Linda would not be permitted to release her second album. In 2009, the song “Victorious” was recorded which has not been picked and submitted for the Melodifestivalen 2010.

Events with the Swedish singer Velvet were recorded as a duet (one of her friends). The song was launched on 22 February 2010, and a few weeks later, it was also made available in the digital version. In Los Angeles, we shot the “Victorious” music video. She competed in 2011 again with the song “E de felpå mig?” at the Melodifestival and 2014; at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, she sought to represent Sweden but with her song “Ta mig” she was not able to finish for the very first time.
