Lex Luger was born in Buffalo, New York, on June 2, 1958. His elementary school was located in Orchard Park, Erie County. He was once a promising footballer. However, he was unsuccessful. Nonetheless, Luger defeated Flair a few months later in a steel-caged match on ‘Capital Combat.’ He lost the title to Stan Hansen in ‘Halloween Havoc: 1990.’ However, he reclaimed it in ‘Starrcade 1990: Collision Course.’ At ‘WrestleWar 1991: WarGames,’ he defended it against Dan Spivey. The match between Luger and Flair for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship slated for June 14, 1991, never took place.
