Kimilee Karyn Bryant is a U.S. actress, singer, and Miss South Carolina formerly. Bryant is best known for performing Christine Daae’s role on Broadway and other The Phantom of the Opera productions and afterward Carlotta’s role in the same musical.

She performed at the Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center and played various roles with New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players in US regional theatres and opera. She also played in cabaret, movies, and TV. Bryant, the daughter of a dance teacher, Karen C. Bryant, grew raised in Berea near Greenville.

She studied at Travelers Rest High School and Converse College, where she graduated in Music. She was Miss South Carolina in 1989 and received talent scholarships at the 1990 Miss America competition. She then studied at the Manhattan School of Music in 1992 with an M.A. in vocal performance and worked with Mignon Dunn.

Bryant also studied voice at the Center of Fine Arts of Greenville and the School of the Arts of South Carolina. She studied dance at the Broadway Dance Centre and played at the T. Bryant debuted in Avery Fisher Hall as a soprano soloist with The National Chorale. In a concert production at the Lincoln Centre, and at the Utrecht Early Music Festival in the Netherlands (2000), she was also a soloist. In the Broadway (1994–95; 1998; 2009–2012 rarely), Bryant played Christine Daaé, in The Swiss (German; 1995‐96), in The U.S. National Tour (1996-98), and in The Phantom of the Opera, in Toronto (1999).

The regional theatre roles of Bryant included: Sally Talley, Talley’s Folly, (1999; Warehouse Theater), Sharon, Warehouse Theatre, Marian in The Music Man, Mary, in Rockwell Story, Bette Davis, and Jeanette MacDonald in There’s No Place Like Hollywood. The theatre’s roles are Eliza, in My Fair Lady, The Farmhouse, N.C. (Yorktown Regional Theatre).
