Juventus Football Club Bio Data :

Juventus Football Club is a professional Italian football club in Turin, Piemont, and is informally known as Juve. The club was founded in 1897 by a group of Torino students, and from 1903 it has worn black and white striped home kits, playing home matches on various facilities in the city, the newest being Allianz Stadium with a capacity of 41,507 people.

The club’s nickname “Old Lady” Vecchia Signora won thirty-three official league titles, 12 Coppa Italia titles, and seven national Super Cup titles and has been recognized as the record holder for all these competitions; two intercontinental coupes, two European Cup Champions, and UEFA Champions Leagues. The side leads the historical Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC), with the international stage taking fourth place, and eight in the globe, in the majority of the confederation titles with 11 trophies, having led the UEFA ranking in seven seasons since its launch in 1979.

Founded with the name of Sport-Club Juventus and initially, as an athletics club, this club is the 2nd oldest of its kind still active in the country after a football section of Genoa (1893), and since its debut in 1900, after its name changed, it has continuously competed in the top flight league (reformulated as a Series A since 1929).

The relationship between the club and that dynasty is the oldest and longest among national sports, making Juventus the first professional sports club in the country, establishing itself as a major player on the national stage as of the 1930ies and at the confederation level since the mid-1970s.

In ten years before 1986, under the direction of Giovanni Trapattoni, the club was awarded thirteen trophies, including six leading titles and five international titles, and became the first to win all three European Football Association Union competitions: Cup European Champions, the Cup Winners’ Cup, and the UEFA Cup. In December 2000, Juventus came in seventh place in the FIFA rankings of the world’s top clubs and was regarded in the 20th-century second-best club in Europe, after a statistical survey series by the International Football Federation, the highest in both clubs in Italy.

Career

In 1900, the club joined the Italian Football Championship. In 1904 the industrialist Ajmone-Marsan reactivated the Juventus football club’s funds and allowed the training field to be transferred to more suitable Velodrome Umberto I from piazza d’armi. The team sported a pink and black kit throughout this period. In 1905, Juventus won the league championship for the first time while playing in its Umberto I velodrome.

The colors of the club changed to black and white, inspired by Notts County on the English side. In 1906, the club separated because members of its personnel thought Juve migrating from Turin. President Alfred Dick was disappointed with this and left FBC Torino to be founded by many renowned players, which generated the Derby Della Mole.

After the separation, Juventus continuously rebuilt most of this period and survived the First World War. In 2004 Fabio Capello was appointed Coach of Juventus and led the club to another two successive Series A wins. In May 2006 Juventus were one of five clubs involved to the Italian football scandal of 2006, which led to the club’s first relegation to Series B. The club has also been removed from both titles won in 2005 and 2006 under Capello.

However, Ferrara’s role as Juventus’ manager proved to be unsuccessful. Juventus was knocked out of the Champions League and Coppa Italia and was also at the end of January 2010 sixth in the league table, which resulted in Ferrara being dismissed and Alberto Zaccheroni being named manager. Zaccheroni was unable to help improve the side as Juventus ended seventh in series A in the season.

For the 2010-2011 season, Andrea Agnelli replaced Jean-Claude Blanc as club chairman. Agnelli’s first move was to replace Zaccheroni and Alessio Secco Sport Director with Luigi Delneri, Sampdoria Manager and Giuseppe Marotta Sport Director. Delneri, however, failed to improve and was removed. Former favorite player and supporter Antonio Conte, fresh in Siena after winning promotion, was designated a substitute for Delneri. Juventus moved to the new stadium in September 2011.

Originally they played with a black tie with pink shirts. One player’s father produced the earliest shirts, but continuous washing so degraded the color that the club tried to replace them in 1903. Juventus requested one of his team members, Englishman John Savage, to have contacts in England to provide new shirts in a color better resistant to their elements. He had a buddy who resided in Nottingham, who was a supporter of the Notts County and sent black and white shirts to Turin. Since then Juventus has worn shirts because the colors are bold and forceful.
