The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional gridiron football team headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, that competes in the American Football Conference of the National Football League. They are a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (AFC). In addition to being a member of the American Football Conference (AFC), they also compete in the National Football League (NFL).
The Jacksonville Jaguars, along with the Carolina Panthers, were one of two expansion franchises that joined the National Football Conference in 1995, and they have been a part of the league ever since (NFC).
