Corey Antonio Hawkins is an American actor who has earned renown in the play ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ Andre ‘Dr. Dre,’ Young in the film ‘Straight Outta Compton’ and Heath in the TV show ‘The Walking Dead.’ Corey Hawkins was born in Washington, D.C., USA, on October 22, 1988. His mother, a police officer, Monicamarie Hawkins, brought him up.
He studied at the Duke Ellington School of Arts and then at New York’s Juilliard School. He was a member of Group 40 of the Drama Division during his tenure there.
