The Buffalo Bisons (also known as the Herd) are a Minor League Baseball team headquartered in Buffalo, New York. They are the Triple-A East affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays and compete in the American Association of Professional Baseball. The team is situated in Buffalo, New York, and its home games are held at Sahlen Field, which has the biggest capacity of any Triple-A baseball stadium in the United States, seating over 20,000 fans. To honor former Buffalo Bison’s players, managers, and others who have made important contributions to the sport in Buffalo, the team established the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985 in partnership with the Buffalo Bisons.
