Beyoncé Knowles Bio Data :

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles was given the name Beyoncé Giselle Knowles after she was born on September 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas, United States. She was best known as the main singer of the R&B group Destiny’s Child, but after leaving the group in the late 1990s, she went on to establish a successful solo career. Beyoncé and her childhood friends formed Destiny’s Child (previously known as Girl’s Tyme) when she was nine years old when she was known as “Beyonce.”

In 1992, she was eliminated from Star Search and was released from a recording deal three years later, before her album was even published. Their fortunes changed dramatically when Destiny’s Child landed a record deal with Columbia Records in 1997, and they haven’t looked back since. Their follow-up album, The Writing’s on the Wall, was nominated for two Grammy Awards and went on to sell more than eight million copies in the United States alone (1999). The group’s third studio album, Survivor (2001), debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart in its first week of release.

Beyoncé of Destiny’s Child was a clear leader, creating hit songs like the raunchy “Bootylicious” and collaborating with others. The trio eventually disbanded in order to focus on individual projects. Beyoncé’s first solo album, Dangerously in Love, was written entirely by the singer-songwriter (2003). The single “Crazy in Love,” which featured rapper Jay-Z, assisted in propelling the album to the top of the charts around the world, according to Billboard.

Among the five Grammy Awards that Beyoncé got in 2004, two were for best contemporary R&B album and the other for best female R&B vocal performance. Destiny’s Child released their fourth studio album, Destiny Fulfilled, in 2004. Though it wasn’t well-received at the time of its release, the album went on to sell more than seven million copies around the world and featured a lot of popular songs.

Career

It was during a world tour in 2005 when the band announced that they were calling it quits. In the same year, a compilation of popular songs and number one singles was released under the title #1’s. A number of different producers, notably the Neptunes, worked with Beyonce on her second solo studio album, B’Day, which was released in 2013.

Despite the album’s overall funk influence, the pop ballad “Irreplaceable” was the album’s most popular song, earning it a Grammy nomination. When she tied the knot with Jay-Z in 2008, they became one of the highest-earning celebrity couples in the world.

Later in the year, Beyoncé released her second studio album, I Am…Sasha Fierce. Her more joyful second half (Sasha Fierce) is a stark contrast to her more contemplative first half (Sasha Fierce) (I Am). Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and the album as a whole produced a number of singles, the most notable of which was the combative “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” (Put a Ring on It).

Beyoncé released 4 (2011), a genre-bending blend of ballads and dance music that drew inspiration from a variety of sources, including Motown-era torch songs and the audio collages of rapper M.I.A. Days after winning the headline slot at the Glastonbury Festival in England, the singer released 4 (2011). Destiny’s Child released a new song, “Nuclear,” in early 2013 following their reunion for a halftime performance at the Super Bowl in the previous year.

After a brief hiatus, she returned with the confident, sensual, and expressive Beyoncé, which featured top-notch producers and guest appearances from celebrities such as Nigerian scholar Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Beyoncé’s baby daughter Blue Ivy, amongst other notable figures.

A video album, with music videos accompanying each tune, was advertised as the record’s main selling point. Initially, it was only accessible through the iTunes store. Seven Grammys were awarded to Jay-Z for his single “Drunk in Love,” which was nominated for best R&B song of the year and won it. In her wide and thorough 2016 album Lemonade, Beyoncé explores themes of betrayal and perseverance, among other things.

It had its television debut on HBO as a television special that served as a prelude to the release of a visual album of the same name. “Formation” from Beyoncé’s Lemonade album was a critical and commercial success, garnering her two Grammy awards, including the best music video for the infectious song “Formation.” Everything Is Love, the Carters’ collaborative album featuring Beyoncé and Jay-Z, was awarded the Grammy for the best urban contemporary album in 2018 for its outstanding achievement.

Carmen: A Hip Hopera, which premiered on MTV in 2001, became Beyonce’s first acting role on the big screen. Her role as Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) established her as a film star, and she went on to participate in films such as The Fighting Temptations and The Pink Panther (2006). It was released in 2006, and she appeared as Deena Jones in the film adaption of Dreamgirls, which is based on the Broadway musical about a 1960s singing group of the same name.

Beyoncé’s rendition of the song “Listen” was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Following her roles in Cadillac Records (2008) as singer Etta James and the suspense thriller Obsessed (2009), she voiced a fairy-like woodland queen in Epic, a Tim Burton-directed animated feature directed by director Tim Burton (2013). On the soundtrack for the 2019 adaptation of Disney’s The Lion King, Beyoncé sings the original song “Spirit,” which she co-authored, as well as a rendition of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” which she penned herself.
