Malcolm Young contacted the vocalist on March 29th to give him a spot in the band, much to Johnson’s astonishment. Another teaser video from AC/DC, just displaying the hashtag #PWRUP, added fuel to the fire. AC/DC officially announced B’s comeback on September 30, 2020. The band announced the release of their next studio album, Power Up, on November 13, 2020, and released the first song from it, “Shot in the Dark,” on October 7, 2020.
