Daniel Nwosu Jr. was born on March 22, 1994, in the city of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Even though he was born in Nigeria, his family relocated to the Canadian city of Ottawa and eventually to the American city of Wichita.
In his childhood, DAX lived in Ottawa and was never interested in rapping; instead, he was more interested in athletics and dreamed to be a professional basketball player when he was younger. While in high school, he became fairly popular because of his stunning appearance and his engagement in athletics, which gained him a partial scholarship to a prestigious university. His next stop was Sunrise Christian Academy, where he was named the most valuable player (MVP) in basketball. He then went on to play for Casper College, then the University of Montana, and finally Newman University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. He attended Newman University and supported himself by working as a janitor to help pay his tuition and living expenses.
Some of his most recent releases include “She Cheated Again,” “Rap God Freestyle,” and “Killshot Freestyle.” So yet, he has only performed on one music tour, which took place in November 2018.
